Return Policy
General Return Policy:
This return policy applies to all items sold by Hammond River Sharpening. We always want our customers to be happy, therefore if you are outside of our return policy, please contact us directly and we'll do our best to help.
Product(s) must be returned within 30 days and with proof of purchase. They are to be in their original packaging (undamaged), unused and in perfect condition for resale. All items are inspected before shipping and will be thoroughly inspected if returned. If knives show any sign of use, honing, sharpening, etc. they will not be accepted for return.
All items returned to Hammond River Sharpening are done so at the buyer's expense. The item(s) are to be properly packaged to prevent damage. Parcels of any kind are to be insured and tracking numbers are to be provided to Hammond River Sharpening so we can follow the progress of your return. Funds will not be returned until your item(s) has been received and inspected. Refunds will be for the value of the product only and not the full amount of the original order. Returns do not include the refund of shipping costs. Hammond River Sharpening reserves the right to include restocking fees and any other incurred costs when issuing a refund.
Items found to be damaged or refused return will not be credited for return or exchange.
The buyer will be notified of approval or rejection of the returned item and will also be notified of refund. If you are approved, your refund will be processed through the original credit card. This can take a few days to show on your statement.
Breakage or Discrepancies:
If there are any issues with your product please notify Hammond River Sharpening within 48 hours of arrival. Hammond River Sharpening is not responsible for any claims made after the noted 48 hour period. For breakage resulting from carrier transit, please take photos and keep the original item(s) as well as all packaging for future inspection by the carrier.
